Muse for Small Business: what changed?
On September 29, 2026, Meta announced new skills and connections inside Muse for people running small businesses. The distinction is what Muse can do with those connections.

Connector versus business experience
A connector lets Muse access a particular service. Muse for Small Business brings those connections together with business skills and context from Instagram professional accounts, Facebook Pages, and Meta ad accounts. Meta says Muse can use what a business sells, its brand voice, and common customer questions to work toward goals such as finding customers or running the business. It is an expansion of Muse, not a separate app.
What could an owner ask it to do?
Meta suggests asking Muse to analyze sales, campaigns, and social activity for a growth plan; draft an ad campaign; or review financial performance for unusual expenses. Intuit separately says its QuickBooks connection supports selected workflows such as reviewing cash flow and creating invoices. These are examples of supported or proposed workflows, not a guarantee that every connected service can perform every action.
Meta names 15 partner tools across commerce, finance, marketing, design, and daily operations. See the small business page for the source-linked list. Meta says publishing, sending, and spending require your approval.
