Stress-testing Meta's Muse Video with a horror clip
Shout-out to @BrentLynch for announcing what appears to be a soft/silent launch of Meta Muse Video. I can only get it to work on my Android app. I tested the first and last frames, and since it didn't use those exact images, my best guess is that the model is Reference-based. I wanted to stress-test with a large crowd for a tense horror clip. This is the best version out of 3, as I ran into some censorship issues. There are some nice things about the model, but it's definitely not on the same level as Seedance or H3.

Muse runs design research in parallel
I've been testing Meta Muse in my design workflow today. One thing it's been surprisingly useful for: the research before I start designing. I gave it a task to find landing pages in a specific space, look for patterns across them, and organize the useful references for me. Then I used that as context for the next steps: exploring the direction with GPT, generating visuals, working on motion, and eventually building in Cursor + Claude. It's a small change, but I like having the research happening in parallel while I'm working on something else. Still figuring out where Muse fits best, but research + organizing references feels like a good use case so far.

Muse found a coffee spot for the visiting family
I was hesitant about using Muse, the new personal agent from Meta because I felt overwhelmed at the concept of using an AI agent but when I needed to find a local coffee shop to try with my family who was visiting from out of town, my Muse Enziki, was intuitive and comprehensive. I simply prompted my Muse with “Find me a popular local coffee shop within 10 miles of my current location.” Within seconds my personal agent was hard at work generating a list of options for me.
